Fed: No positive results for swine flu in Victoria

MELBOURNE, April 30 AAP - A total of 35 Victorians have been tested for swine flu,
with no positive results returned so far.

Of those tested since Monday, 22 have come back negative, a spokesman for Victorian
Chief Health Officer Dr John Carnie said.

Results are still pending on the other 13 cases.

Most people have been tested after visiting hospital emergency departments or general
practitioners with flu-like symptoms.

The incubation period is between 24 and 48 hours, the spokesman said, so many people
were not showing symptoms when they arrive at Melbourne airports from countries of concern.
